How Does Online

STD Testing Work?

There are 2 methods of testing for STDs online.

Method 1

At-Home STD Test Kits

A testing company will send your test kit through the mail. Typically they will provide you with a pre-paid postage mailer that you will use to mail your urine/blood samples back to the testing company, at no cost to you. At-Home test kit results typically take 1-5 days after the company receives your samples.

Method 2

Lab Testing

You visit a local diagnostic lab to submit a urine and/or blood sample and receive your results in a few days. Typically results for lab testing are available in 1-3 days.
